Olympic National Park. The Colonnades nurse log in the Hoh Rainforest has nearly completed her work as she returns to the earth that nourished her. But what a life she has had raising up this family of giants on her fallen back.

Indeed she is. We have our own colonnade nurse log in the SHNA! How cool is that? In fact, SHNA looks not so different from the rain forest, just not as ancient.

I celebrate in gratitude for your recent time OUT on the peninsula. Sounds like it was incredibly nourishing. Your continued storytelling is inspiring me to want to get back on the blog horse myself.
