O the angst of separation…so profound to see it…and hear it…in a little person’s body expression. He’s so fortunate to have you be a source of reassurance.

He got over it quickly, though not as quickly as usual. We watched crows fighting over food on the sidewalk. A significant distraction. Then we had a great day.

This picture is not wordless…it speaks volumes. We’ve seen the beautiful pics of this little guy — it’s good to see he’s just like the rest of us!
