Once upon a time a guy named Joseph and his quite pregnant (oops) fiancee Mary
had to leave home to go somewhere else to get counted.
They traveled through the desert for many days.
When they got where they were headed the inn was crowded.
“No room!” the prickly inn keeper told them.
They had that babe in a barn, if you can imagine.
That didn’t change the fact that he was a special baby.
Three wise ones came bearing gifts
and a host of angels harked the baby’s birth.
Following the moon,
shepherds came to that barn from miles around.
But scary things were happening elsewhere.
A mockingbird came to Joe in a dream.
Told him King Herod with his big dick—I mean stick—was gunning for that baby,
and that God would send a roadrunner
to guide them home a different way, over the mountains.
The One who is More went on to do big things through that little baby, Jesus.
And He became the Light in a dark world.
Loved your story in photos…yes, they can easily be referenced that way…

A nice modern day version of the bible story. I especially like how you capitalized on the appropriate Words….and this time of year! And to top it off, great pictures as usual. Thanks for sharing the gift you’ve been given Gretchen.
