No words for how much I love that you were on the trail at sunrise. Perfection * I’m imagining the meadows were stunning in that light.

I left home at 4:30, then had to wait. Truth be told, the color wasn’t stunning until the sun got straight overhead mid-day. And there weren’t enough clouds for sky color. Still, I loved being there before the sun.

I think I’ve been there just once for actual sunrise and would agree it is not as impressive as the mountain’s opposite side. But there is something in that soft glow of morning. The hush that rests over those meadows until the birds and critters begin their chatter. It is unlike anything else and I’m so happy to know you got that *
