Nice picture. We once saw two baby great horned owls sitting in the crook of one of those cottonwoods. The parents were keeping a watchful eye out just above them. Don’t know if it is still a regular nesting spot. I enjoy (read: am envious of) your photos!

I saw a great horned owl once. But only because there was a group of bird watchers gathered on the boardwalk with binoculars and huge-lens cameras on tripods. Otherwise I never would have spotted it!
