I went to the Bonsai Museum and the Rhododendron Species Garden yesterday. More to come next week about that adventure. For now, a Trident Maple from Japan that originated in 1945 and has been a bonsai since 1950, two years before I was born. (Stop by next week for one that originated in 1700!)

They are very meditative, I expect to create and maintain, and also to look at. Living, breathing art.
