Technically neither flora nor fauna, but nature! Each Olympic Peninsula beach is unique. Rialto’s superpower is colored stones. And I can’t not pick them up.

My mother picked up rocks near there on a trailer trip with my father. She would put them in a large brandy sniffer as table decorations. The are in my front bed around a fountain now. Need to dig them up and reuse elsewhere.

  I emptied cans of rocks into a garden. This past spring, I dug them back out and put plastic under them so they wouldn’t get buried! I like them there.
