I went to the Bonsai Museum and the Rhododendron Species Garden yesterday. More to come next week about that adventure. For now, a Trident Maple from Japan that originated in 1945 and has been a bonsai since 1950, two years before I was born. (Stop by next week for one that originated in 1700!)
Spring has left its creeping entry and exploded into fullness.
Early this morning a litter of coyote pups sang for their breakfast, an owl called for a mate, and the bright half moon glowed outside my window.
